Event Description:
National Night Out Tuesday, August 2 from 5:00-8:00 pm- timings of below events are subject to change in case of emergency or unforeseen circumstances. Follow our Facebook event for the most up to date information on timings and activities. https://fb.me/e/2DIhfH0yg
NEW ADDITIONS you do not want to miss for this year’s National Night Out Event. We will still have sponsors lining the park with fun activities and games for you to enjoy, inflatables, free food, performance from the Grandview Heights Marching Band, and First Responders showing off their vehicles.
Touch-a-Truck- we have SWAT, Franklin County K9 deputy, VAT School Bus, Dump Truck, Lawn Mower and many more vehicles lined up to see and touch!!
Bike Rodeo- bring your favorite wheels and try out our little obstacle course! Scooters, bikes, tricycles, big wheels all acceptable items to maneuver around with. Be sure to have a helmet!
Jollysteppers- Watch the Grandview Heights Famous Jollysteppers as they perform inside the Wyman Woods Shelter House at 5:00 pm
Helicopter- will fly by and land in Wyman Woods East at some point in the evening and stay for a little bit for participants to come up close to look at. Follow our event on Facebook for up to date information on timing of all events so you don’t miss it!
Donut Eating Contest – How many donuts can you eat in 10 minutes? Can you finish 1 dozen donuts?? We will have a donut eating contest for KIDS and ADULTS at 7:00 pm during National Night Out. The fee to participate is $5.00. Space is limited to 8 adults and 8 kids. Once the program is full, please join the waitlist as we will open up more categories if needed. Once registered, please meet inside the Wyman Woods Shelter House by 6:45 pm for a 7:00 pm start time. If you are on the waitlist and interested in joining last minute if needed, you should also meet up at the shelter house at 6:45 pm. Registration for the donut eating contest opens up on Monday, July 11 at 9:00 am. Sign Kids up HERE, Adults up HERE
S'mores- we will have s’more kits inside the shelter house by the fireplace for you to make your own s’more.
